Stone Temple Pilots - Stone Temple Pilots (Atlantic)
NECRO - DIE! (Psycho+Logical-Records)

Coming off a few tours, its been 3 years since Necro has released "Death Rap" his last album. As good as Death Rap was, DIE! definitely surpasses it. The production is top notch from songs like "Sorcerers Death Construction" to "Set It" and "Viva Necro", and there is no decline in his writing ability neither. Even though he is not an extraordinary producer, I just love the ear he has for samples. The album has no guest appearances as Necro has stated from his website though it had no need to as Necro can pull a great album out solo. Aside from "Gory Days" and "I Need Drugs", DIE! doesnt have any metal sounding beats or tracks with live instrumentation like the preceding albums although most of the tracks are in reference to metal songs. The only track that would come close is "Pit". So the only thing i have left to say to all you haters that cant appreciate what Necro does is.....DIE!!
